A similar experiment was conducted by Dayes and Mykel, where two groups of people were used for the study. However, the results from this experiment did not give any substantial results on effects of subliminal message on the targeted groups.

The experiment made researches question about the type of music that is used to mask subliminal messages. It was found by Benes team that though softer music evoked relevant imagery compared to rock music, however, the images had no connection to the subliminal words used in the audio. On the other hand, the control group exposed to masked subconscious message audio showed more imagery compared to the subliminal group.

Even if these experiments have been conducted by interested researchers, the results have been less than satisfactory, raising doubts about the effects of subliminal message audio on a wider population. These type of results, even though handful, have made researchers consider the field of subliminal message as impractical. However, producers and supporters of subliminal message audio claim that since no negative results have been seen during the experiments, it does not qualify this method as being ineffective. What Happens When You Tap?

How Do You Do It?

Let’s say you notice you are upset. You may be feeling any sort of upseting emotion. You may be feeling sad, irritated, frustrated, overwhelmed, anxious, guilty, angry, resentful, ashamed, scared or embarrassed.

Simply start tapping.

Tap at the eyebrow point, then the side of the eye, then under the eye, under the nose, chin, collarbone, under the arm, then the top of the head. Tap as many times as you want at each point. But there’s no need to count.

Then tap again, starting at the eyebrow point and ending at the top of the head.

After a couple of rounds stop tapping and notice what you’re thinking and feeling. If you’re still upset, tap some more.

While you’re tapping, just let your thoughts occur naturally. You don’t have to say them aloud or change them in any way.

You don’t even have to pay particular attention to your thoughts and feelings while tapping.

What Happens Next?

The tapping will automatically help to balance out your state and bring you more understanding and clarity. While you may not get 100% clarity, you can move in a very positive direction.

And even though this form of wordless tapping may not be as effective as a thorough targeted session with a set-up and lots of words…

…it is far superior to no tapping at all!
