Teen acne problems have been a major skin problem among children now-a-days. Oil blotters are made of linen or tissue that absorbs the oil from the face. This keeps the pores and glands from becoming blocked. These items are becoming more popular and can be used frequently through out the day with out smudging make-up.
5. The best treatment for pimple spots is a benzoyl peroxide cream. While salicylic acid exfoliates the skin, benzoyl peroxide kills the bacteria that rises up from the blocked pores. This cream can be very drying to the skin, so it is not recommended to be used all over the face every day.
6. There are other ways to prevent and treat acne besides just creams and soaps. Some natural remedies that have been researched are the use of vitamins to treat acne. Vitamin A, some of the B vitamins and zinc have shown some improvement in acne. These recommendations need to be followed by a doctor to prevent accidently overdosing.
