Farmville Gift Guide
One of the finest things about Farmville is the ability to give gifts to your Farmville friends. It costs you nothing more than a few seconds of your time and is a great way to reinforce your bond with neighbors. The newly added “Send Gift” feature gives you a wide range of possible gifts to send either your friends or other accounts as it now allows you to purchase gifts at the Market.
Free Gifts
During certain happenings, the offered free gifts occasionally change. However, there are always a couple different items that will certainly be welcome. You can always send things that are special and can’t be obtained in another way. Always give a tree that produces a valuable harvest. Read Farmville Trees to make sure that you’re gifting something which is valuable to other players. Be sure to send lots of presents during the Christmas event so that your friends will have a good time unwrapping presents on the 24th of December. The more you send, the more likely it is that you’ll get presents too, so be sure to give your free gifts every day.
Gifts that Cost Cash or Coin
You can now buy gifts at the Market to send to other people. This is a relatively recent added feature. You can purchase these Farmville items using either Farm Cash or Coin. Some examples are Gazebo, Treehouse, Manor. Help out other people who can’t manage to pay for a high-priced item and keep the goodwill of your neighbors.
‘
Not Spoiled, Gifted!’
The “Not Spoiled, Gifted” achievement requires that you leave gifts in your Gifts Box until you accumulate a specific number of different gifts. You need to have 21 unique gifts to get the blue ribbon. Make sure you get rid of duplicate items—use them or sell. You need space in order to get this ribbon. These identical items only take up the needed space!
Requests
You will generally receive lots of gifts if you have lots of neighbors. Not all of these gifts will be ones you wish for—I mean, just how many reindeer can a person really use?? Farmville has anticipated this and allows you to sell extra or unwanted gifts right from your “Gifts” box. To avoid receiving unwanted gifts, leave a note on your field (something like “I would really appreciate some horses or chickens”) and hopefully people will check it before gifting you. Try to do the same for other players.
Dual Accounts
If you are using dual accounts to level up more quickly in Farmville, gifts can be a good bonus. Send yourself the things each of your two farms needs. If one of your farms has more coins than other, send yourself the items that your other account can’t manage to pay for. Use common sense and persistence to develop your two farms into massive plantations.
So, you don’t have many friends who play Farmville. Do you want to know how to get more neighbors?. Head on to Farmville Neighbors for more info.
